Tim Gassen's book and subsequent CD ROM titled "The Knights of Fuzz", has
just added another chapter in the form of a "Knights of Fuzz" DVD compilation. And after viewing the Cheepskates three-song
DVD demo, Mr. Gassen contacted CheepskatesMovie.com to ask if the footage could be restored and edited for his new project.
Rather than re-edit any of the three existing songs which are on
the demo, an original number from the same performance, titled "Big Bad World" was selected.
Using the Apple Final Cut Pro digital editing software at VICTORFOTO, the footage of
this number has been meticulously restored in an almost frame by frame manner. The results are, to quote Tim
Gassen "fabulous"!
The Cheepskates appear on the DVD along with other 80's Garage/Psych luminaries
such as The Chesterfield Kings, The Fuzztones, and The Vipers, plus many more.
