During a break from the Fuzztones, guitarist Elan Portnoy and drummer Ira Elliott got together with former Outta' Place bass player (and brother) Orin Portnoy, and singer/guitarist Bobby Belfiore of Wash. D.C.'s Purple Onion to form the "Bohemian Bedrocks." Since Elan and Ira were leaving for a Fuzztones European tour, these photos are from the band's last show, and the name had already been changed to the "Optic Nerve" with which Bobby and Orin would continue on. The club was actually an American Legion hall on 14th Street, and was billed as "The Crypt."
